Authors may not be required to pay a fee upon acceptance of their manuscript to cover the costs of editorial processes, peer review, and publication. APCs do not influence editorial decisions, which are based solely on the manuscript’s merit. - Institutional Support:
The journal may receive financial support from universities, research institutions, or professional organizations that share its mission of advancing research and open-access publishing. - Sponsorships:
Sponsorship agreements with organizations or companies may be established to support specific activities such as special issues, events, or infrastructure development. - Advertising Revenue:
Funds generated from advertisements are used to support the journal’s operational and publishing activities. Advertisements are managed in accordance with the journal's Advertising Policy to ensure transparency and ethical compliance.
- Editorial Independence
- The journal maintains complete editorial independence, ensuring that funding sources and sponsors do not influence:
- Editorial decisions.
- The selection or rejection of manuscripts.
- Peer-review processes or publication outcomes.
- All funding sources and sponsorships are disclosed publicly to maintain transparency.
- Disclosure of Funding in Articles
Authors must disclose all sources of funding for their research in their manuscript, including:
- Grants from government agencies, private foundations, or industry.
- Any financial or non-financial support received during the study.
Example Statement:
“This research was supported by [Funding Agency Name], Grant Number [XXXXXX].”
If no funding was received, authors should state:
“The authors received no financial support for the research, authorship, or publication of this article.”
- Managing Sponsorships
- Sponsorship agreements are reviewed and approved by the publisher to ensure alignment with the journal’s mission and ethical standards.
- Sponsors are prohibited from influencing the journal’s editorial content or decisions.
- Transparency and Accountability
- The journal discloses all funding and sponsorship information on its website and in relevant publications.
- Any potential conflicts of interest arising from funding or sponsorship are addressed in line with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Updates to Policy
