Article Processing Charges (APC)

Journal of Drug Delivery and Biotherapeutics (JDDB) is committed to making all of its research articles accessible to a wide audience by publishing them in full open access. This means that our articles are freely available for unlimited use and reuse, with proper credit given to the authors. All articles are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license.

Why APC?

To sustain the high-quality publishing services we provide, authors are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC covers several essential aspects of the publication process, including:

  • Peer review administration and management: Ensuring rigorous and constructive peer review.
  • Professional production of articles: Preparing articles in various formats, including PDF.
  • Dissemination: Making published papers available through multiple channels.
  • Publishing functions: Supporting various aspects of journal management.

Please note that payment of the APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. However, there are no charges for articles that are rejected, no submission charges, and no additional charges based on article length, figures, or supplementary data. Certain types of content, such as Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc., are published free of charge.
